BPD Global Group are pleased to announce that we have been awarded ISO 27001 certification across our entire business. ISO is the world’s largest developer and creator of standards that specify worldwide requirements for products, services, processes, materials and systems. ISO 27001 is the international standard developed specifically for Information Security Management Systems, requiring that a company uses a systematic approach to managing sensitive information and ensuring data security.
We worked closely with Safe Harbour consulting and the British Assessment Bureau to build a comprehensive information management system that builds on our existing practices and exceeds the requirements laid out by the ISO 27001 standard. SafeHarbour will continue to work with us to continually improve our overall security posture.
BPD Global Group’s ISO 27001 certification by the British Assessment Bureau recognizes that our implementation meets one of the most stringent international standards.
ISO 27001 comprises 14 detailed control categories including: information security policy, security organization, asset classification controls, personnel security, physical security, communication management, access controls, system deployment, continuity planning and compliance. As a Cloud service provider we take Information Security very seriously, and this certification endorses our approach. We have also adopted recent additional measures on Cyber Security as advised by the UK NCSC. More information on these additional steps can be found here:
